Overburden Stripping and Tipping
We advise clients that for overburden strips in excess of 10,000m3 should
be managed by a geologist to ensure expenditure is kept to a minimum. In
our experience strips in excess of this volume are generally over estimated.
Frequent but not excessive supervision of the tipping, surveys prior to and
after the strip will ensure that you only pay for the volume removed.
