Site Investigation
We have organized and supervised numerous exploration programmes,
for varying types of hard rock and sand and gravel. This includes
every aspect from determining the optimum locations for the
boreholes to ensure maximum information collation but to minimise
cost, to logging the cores or samples, to determining the testing
regime on the samples, to interpreting the results from the testing,
through to the final quarry extraction design. Each exploration
programme will be devised to accommodate the specific conditions of
the site geology, using methods such as geological mapping,
drilling, test pitting and testing of samples.
